Add a midi command to go up and down in presets

New QC owner here and love being able to use MIDI switching with my setup. Only thing I find CONSIDERABLY annoying is the fact that changing presets via midi requires multiple commands instead of the single command it should actually need.

Please add a new midi command to be able to shift presets up and down without needing to choose a specific foot switch in preset mode.

Personally I’d prefer to stay in scene mode and just go up a preset for each song in the setlist. Makes way more sense in my options and seems like other people have requested this a few times in the last couple years

MIDI controlled up and down switches

Hello, I am a new Quad Cortex user and new in this forum. Why are the up/down footcontrollers not bound to a MIDI CC# message? I am using the QC in a rack, controlling it with a MIDI footcontroller (Behringer FCB1010). The up and down switches seem to be the only two switches that cannot be controlled by MIDI messages. Why? I would very much like to go through banks and presets using MIDI. Cheers! Kjeld

MIDI enabled preset change as with the Up/Down switch on the physical unit

AS-IS On the physical unit you simply stomp the Up/Down button and QC will go to the next preset (when in preset mode…), if there are none left in the setlist it will go to the next setlist or circle back to the first one and load the first preset there. There’s already a pretty complex MIDI logic for changing a preset inside a setlist where you can go to a specific preset in a specific setlist (sample: CC#0 value 1, CC#32 value 5, Program #1).
