I know on QC and FM9 you can set your expression pedal to activate the wah using movement. At the top of the sweep, the wah is off. When the pedal is moved, the wah engages and then disengages when returned to the top of the sweep.
Is this possible on the Nano, using the new update? I’ve got the wah working and it sounds fine, but can I turn it on/off.
If it helps, I’m using the Boss EV-30 dual expression pedal.
I haven’t found a solution to that myself. I have the same expression pedal.
Some expression pedals have a switch on the top of the sweep which the nano can use to bypass the fx block with the wah. Unfortunately the EV30 doesn’t have that switch.
So I have to engage another preset which doesn’t have the wah for now. Hopefully they will consider adding MIDI support for bypassing the blocks rather than just using the expression switch (for those of us that are switchless)
Click the 3 dots on the main page, then expression pedal. Scroll down and enable the bypass for whichever slot your wah is in. You can then change the switch to enable with heel-toe.

You are a star. Thank you. Makes perfect sense when you see it. Cheers bud

Glad I could help! I found it confusing at first too, but like you said, makes sense once you see it.
To clarify, you just do a quick pedal sweep from the heel to the toe and that should do the bypass. You don’t need an expression pedal with the switch. That would be great.
Not quite.
Once you have it set up as per the instructions, your pedal will render the wah OFF in heel down position. When you move it the wah comes on. When you return the pedal to heel down position, after a short delay, it switches off the wah.
Conversely, my preference is to have the pedal render the way OFF in toe down position. This can be achieved using the instructions to set the pedal up and selecting the little squiggly arrow in the top right corner - you’ll know it when you see it!
The only other thing is you can select the time it takes to switch the wah off. I’ve found the default, 600ms, works fine for me, but adjust to taste.
Hopefully, that helps.

And I presume using this method you can engage/bypass any block of your choosing, not just Wah. Cool.
