I think NDSP should make an “XL control” MIDI controller, featuring 2x pedals, and 6x additional stomp buttons.

QC owners would buy it because quite a few patches need one or more expression pedals, and scene+stomp doesn’t work too well for complicated patches.

Bedroom players would buy it because they could connect it to their computer over USB, and have complete control over their plugins.

that, and an FRFR and they’d have it pretty much all covered.
(I suspect we’ll see an FRFR eventually, at least)
