Yes. I’m 55. I play professionally since 1994. But I’m playing electric guitar (jazz, bossa, etc) only for 5 years. I always played a 7 strings guitar (here in Brasil we use 1st and 2nd nylon and the others flatwound strings to play choro and samba, two authentic brazilian genres), and had some of your problems having to carry heavy weigth sometimes. But the sound is always clean and just an eq pedal is ok. I’m now using the digital devices to improve the electric instruments and the acoustics too (with IR for acoustic). So NC is good to use in the instruments that I have. I make some presets for every one (7 strings guitar and the new ones to play bossa, jazz, latin: GJ guitar, hollow, semihollow and a 1950’s Del Vecchio dinamico - like a dobro). NC is very useful for this but can limit the usage with this obligation to use an internet connection all the time when you use the app. I don’t know a device for guitar that have this issue. I have katana go, two notes cab M+, chocolate plus, another low cost ir loader and eq that are all offline and all work very well.
Note that some days before the 2.1 update, I have discovered that I could use NC without internet making my android app always open and if there was no internet, I could work on the parameters. The 2.1 update made the app completely dependent of internet. So my happiness was for few days.
I think it’s a thing ease to achieve, on 2.0 it worked. I think that we have all to ask to revert. No way for me to go to a gig, show, with a device that needs internet to alter some parameters. My reality (and others complaining here in forum) is that there are places we have a bad internet connection. I’ll not reject a gig because it’s in interior with a bad internet connection.
I’ll wait some months more, because this kind of device is difficult to buy and to sell here in my country, but there are lots of alternatives, including cheaper ones and I can solve these problems just selling NC and using something else. No drama for this. 
Finally, there is a post with a feature request (another person opened the post, not me) asking for this. If you and the others that are reading, agree, please vote there!
