Share your Nano Cortex pedalboard

I’ll go first…

NC running amp head captures only into the loop of my GT-1000 Core. Mounted on a Warwick Rockboard Duo 2.0 with perfect fit, no overhang. Powered by a Cioks Sol.

Really happy with this setup. I’m always on headphones, travel a lot, and must have clean power. Was using my QC less and less over the past few months in favor of the GT1KC, but really missed the great sounding captures. The Nano was an unexpected surprise and made it so I can combine the best of both worlds. I tried to do this with tonex and it made me want to die. :+1:

Hello, I’ve been with the boss Gt 1000 core for a while, but I’ve been thinking about including the Nano cortex for a while, I’m a little doubtful whether to make the same configuration you have, but I’m glad to see that it really works! How do you use it, the Nano cortex for the amp simulation and the boss for the effects? How do you have it connected?

After trying the all in one solution for a bit, I really enjoy to have some pedals again with the Nano. I’ve attached two battery packs underneath the board, so I can play without a grid for 20 hours, before I need to recharge. The Luminite Graviton M1 is great for accessing the Looper and every preset I have on my Nano and with the little XY-Buttons, I now never have to bend down or use a PC or phone with it.

For amplification I use the Fender Fr-10 with the Archangel board from reverb. So it’s hiss free and sounds very good and got me through every gig so far

this my working progress bass rig. I used my nano as main head of the effects. with HX stomp for EQ and some wet effects. and tonex i loaded some stomp effects like tone hammer, aguilar preamp and big muff. I will put midi cable from stomp to tonex.

I have been in the process of building a new setup. Prior to this, I had a Fractal FM9… it was both powerful, great sounding, and yet limiting all at the same time. In the name of better flexibility I finally decided to take a more modular approach, and I think this is going to work out well.

Basically a “B” rig for my Quad Cortex pedalboard (posted in the other thread: https://unity.neuraldsp.com/t/what-kind-of-pedalboard-are-you-guys-using/5418)

Flexible enough to go to FoH or into a regular/passive cabinet if needed. Also, have a failsafe 1/4" input in case the wireless isn’t friendly that day.

All in a nice and light flight-case that I can wheel around so that the only time I have to carry it is stairs.

Hello everyone, here is my 2025 pedalboard almost finished. Tuner > Hx One > Nano Cortex > AB (A: to stereo jack output, B: to Spark) > Pandora power amp > Cab 4x12. Graviton M2 midi controller to control the Hx One and the Nano Cortex + ampero switch for banks + and -

Hi! :wave:t2: nano B (as in backpack) rig here, using the nano mostly solo, with the hx one for extras in front. Cioks DC7 underneath for power.

I tried a TC X1 in front, but the pitch stuff was disappointing and the UX was awful. The HX one is great for this.

I recently flew with this in my backpack and did some preset editing while in the air, it was awesome. :joy:

I still wish I could tap tempo into the nano delay, but I just leave it at 320ms, and use the HX One for anything where I really need to tempo sync the delay.

Cheers! :metal:t3:

You all are amazing.

Very happy with my small pedalboard, only 2 cables to plug in at a gig (power adapter and 1 cable to my power amp).

Line 6 wireless, wah, NC, extra midi button for the NC and a power brick.

Hey all. This is my current rig. Waiting on a Midi switcher to fit in the hole. Using the HX one for drives and reverbs not on the Nano and the Simplifier is my backup amp and acoustic pass thru. Mixer allows vocals or additional FX’s and mandolin etc to be added or for dual amp tones if desired.

How do you power tye nano eith this harley benton? It says max 500mA on harley benton whereas the nano requires 600ma. In which input do you connect it and does it work as great?

I use a current doubler cable on 2 of the 500mA outputs to power the Nano Cortex. Works great!

I’d love to hear more about your signal flow. I’m very interested in setting up a small board like this.

Pulled a few pedals off my small grab and go live board after the update. More room for my feet. I think I could get away with just the nano on its own for like 75% of what I do love now. At home it’s nice to have options and I have a few bigger boards I’m going to reconfigure with the nano as the amp sim.

What can you do with the Dore Midi controller?

The DOREMIDI controller is just an extra switch for the Nano. Currently, the left switch is my clean, the right switch is my rhythm (if I click that one again it goes to a crunch sound) and the DOREMIDI activates my lead sound.

As a celebration for Coros2 I‘ve built a new Pedalboard and tried to incorporate some ideas from the Schmidt Array boards
