My Mac Studio is coming soon, and although it has USB-A ports, I think it would be better to connect the quadcortex to another port—USB-C?—and leave the USB-A ports for the mouse and keyboard.
For those of you who have an ARM Mac, where do you connect the QC? Perhaps with a USB type B cable on one end and USB-C on the other? In principle, I’d like to do without the hubs.
yes, avoid hubs if possible (though I can confirm self-powered ones can work).
I use USB-B to USB-C and have had no issues.

I use a USB-B to USB-C cable that I bought from Amazon. You could also find USB-A to USB-C Adaptors that could do the trick as well. And like xush mentioned, I would avoid using a hub if possible and go direct to Mac.

Either or.
Though it would probably be more convenient at the front if you take it out for gigging.
Rear TB4 socket will run USB.
