Looking at using the wah effects and my mission engineering pedal to engage the wah and I am wondering where everyone has been placing the pedal at? Pre amp block in beginning of chain or post amp/cab block at end of chain?
I use my wah before the QC,
if I don’t have my wah, its the first block after the noise gate

The first block would be a gate if you really need it and then the wah and then everything else
I incorporate a pitch block for tuning down just after the input and then the wah.
Traditionally a Wah would be in front however if you want to do cool filter sweeps try putting the block right at the end of the chain… this creates an “envelope” filter kind of effect.
