I’m sure this option will help many people achieve better tone and better understand how a compressor works.

Description:
The Nano Cortex currently lacks any visual feedback for Gain Reduction (GR) on its compressor blocks (1176, Opto Comp, Solid State, and OCA Comp).

Setting up precise compression for bass or studio chains is nearly impossible without knowing how many dBs are being reduced. I suggest:

  1. In the Cortex Cloud App: A real-time Gain Reduction meter in the compression edit screen.

  2. On the Device: Using the LED ring or the main LED strip to show compression activity when a compressor block is active.
