Using downloaded IRs

Hi all,

Had my Nano for a few weeks, and have been able to download content from the cloud, onto the app.
When I go to my profile, I can see the IR I downloaded in my “Downloaded Neural Captures”.

When I go to my IRs, select one to change out I can see 10 Factory IRs, but I cant find the IR I downloaded. I know I’m missing a step but dont know where.

Any advice (or a detailed video) would be most appreciated.

I’ll see if I can get in front of my PC later to remember the process entirely. You have to login to the cloud on a PC. Then upload your IR’s to the cloud from your PC.

Then once you boot up the Nano and sync to it with your phone. It’ll be in the Impulse Responses section.

This is what the icon looks like for Impulse Response

Let me know if this helps at all. Otherwise I’ll try to provide more screenshots later

Thank you so much! I think that’s all I needed, but I’ll jump on soon and give it a crack!

I spoke too soon. I have been on the Cortex Cloud, found an IR and selected to download. But it didn’t appear on the app

Sorry for the delay I am in front of my PC now!

Can you share a screenshot of the IR you’ve downloaded? Now that I’m looking at this closer the IR’s I’ve downloaded came from other websites. So, I download them on my PC and then click this button…

the next window will allow you to drag and drop files or you can browse your PC. Then click OK once you’ve selected the file you want to load.

So in this example I selected and uploaded a random IR I had called Jensen Electric Lightning

now that it appears in this list I can load up the app on my phone and find it there

Just in a similar position and also just signed up to say that i am having the same problem.

On the desktop website cortex cloud i have uploaded 2 IRs. However my phone app says 0.

Also when i try to load Cortex Control on desktop it says i need to power on device even though it is already powered on. So a nooby question is, does the nano cortex connect/work with the cortex control desktop??

Cheers

No, the Nano does not need to be connected to a PC to follow the instructions I made. I did that process with the Nano powered off

if there is a way to do it with the Nano powered and connected to the PC - I am not aware of how that process would go

Are you signed into the same account on Cortex Cloud on both PC and mobile?
