Understanding Splitters on Quad

I am trying to understand the impact of splitters on the Quad interface.

If I introduce a splitter like this:

Am I essentially creating a wet and dry signal path, where the effects in the split are isolated from the top path without a split?

Are my delays only applied to half the signal, leaving a dry path between the amp and 2 last reverbs?

Many thanks for any help

With this preset you have the effects of Row 2 feeding into the reverb and delay in Row 1 once they come together.

Depends what you’re going for tbh. If you want them to be completely separate then I wouldn’t have Row 2 joining back into Row 1 before the reverb/delay. If that’s what you want, then yes it’s fine. It’s technically not really a typical wet/dry setup since you have more reverb and delay at the end. Usually it’s a fully wet signal (100% on the effects) blended with the dry that doesn’t have them, but there can be variations.

You’ll most likely want the effects on Row 2 to be at 100% otherwise you’ll have really weird phasing when the two signals combine.

I now understand it.
