Tuner Fails to Engage

CorOS Version: 2.3.0

Describe your issue:
–SOMETIMES-- When I press and hold the Tap Tempo button, the tuner does not engage. This happened last night at rehearsal after the QC had only been on for about 90 minutes. I have used it in the same room with the same gear/cords, etc for the past 5 weeks over 3 or 4 hours each time with no such issue.

I did notice that when this occurred, the GIG VIEW was active on my QC, be even deactivating GIG VIEW did not allow the tuner to work until I rebooted the QC. I tested activating the tuner from GIG VIEW just now, and it works properly. Tuner comes on, then goes back to GIG VIEW.

I see there was previously a report of this issue, but that is closed. However it doesn’t appear to be fixed.

Steps to reproduce your issue:

  1. Press and hold Tap Tempo button
  2. Tuner does not come on

I expected this to happen:
When I press and hold the Tap Tempo button, I expect the tuner to turn on EVERY TIME.

I have tried the following things:

  1. Press and hold Tap Tempo button
  2. Tuner does not come on
  3. Change preset
  4. Press and hold Tap Tempo button
  5. Tuner still does not come on
  6. Reboot QC
  7. Press and hold Tap Tempo button
  8. Tuner turns on

hey. I’m having exactly the same problems. I’ve contacted support who got back to me initially, but have since gone quiet, despite me chasing them. this thread seems to be the most recent about the issue, so following here in case of a solution.

Sounds like it could be something corrupt in the firmware, that or a faulty encoder knob which is rare. I would email support@neuraldsp.com so they can log the issue and hopefully provide resolution.
