Trying to run big sky and timeline in stereo fx loop

Hi there. I dont know if anyone can help me with this. It might be a pretty nooby question. Ive had the QC a couple of months and have recently puchased a second FR speaker.

Im trying to run my timeline and bigsky in stereo in series throught the fxloop of the QC. Im using at the moment im using regular patch cables. Do they need to be TRs?
So im going:

2 cables from left in and right in of Timeline to send 1 and send 2 of QC
2 cables from timeline left out and right out to left in and right in of Bigsky
And then left out and right out of Bigsky to return 1 and 2 of QC.

When i bring the FX loop 1/2 into the preset i need to adjust the return volume (this was the same when was running them mono or the verb especially starts peaking.)
I can hear and test that the effects are stereo- delays ping ponging etc , but one speaker for some reason is super quiet. Other one is fine.
Ive tried looking at the mixer and splitter menu, as im running two different amps into two different cab IRs and testing deifferent volumes there, but just cant get it to work. I hope im making sense. Im pretty new to all this and any help would be much appreciated about what might cause it. The stereo sound is fine until i bring the FX 1/2 into the preset.

Hello, one suggestion you might try is recreate the FX loop chain example from the QC manual (pg72), then go from there. Block placement and cable connectivity may not be what you expect. There are multiple ways to achieve “stereo”. Keep researching, YouTube is your friend. Good luck

Thanks so much for your reply. You tube is indeed my friend! Got to the bottom of it. Managed to get them stereo and i actually didnt realise theres a whole seperate output menu for the FX loop sends and returns in the output swipe down menu. Managed to fix up the volume issue there and get it all nice and even, with nothing peaking. Sounds great now. Always something new to discover with this thing!
