How do I connect the captor x to the 1/4inch jack on the QC ?? Captor x is 2 XLR outs

I use them for Captor-X and for my studio monitors

Technically XLR to TRS. TRS is frequently used for studio line level ground control (“balanced”) rather than carrying 2 live signals (“stereo”).

cool. I and I can just output from the one side of the captor x and disable the cabs ? does that work well for you?

If you are looking to capture the cabs, then I would use the Two-Notes wet out. I like the Two-Notes captures. If you want to just use the amp capture (no cabs / Two-Notes processing) then yes use the dry side - but remember to disable the doubling.
