Hi,

I’d like to suggest a Group Bus / Submix Bus feature for the Quad Cortex.

Currently, multiple rows can be routed to the same physical output, but I would like to be able to combine several rows into an internal bus first, and then route that bus to a single output.

For example:

Row 1 – Delay ───────┐
Row 2 – Modulation ──┤
Row 3 – Reverb ──────┼→ FX Group Bus → Out 1/2
Row 4 – Pitch ───────┘

The important part would be that the Group Bus could have its own:

  • Volume

  • Mute / Solo

  • Pan

  • EQ

  • Compressor / Limiter

  • Additional FX blocks

This would be especially useful when using the Quad Cortex as a dedicated FX processor or mixer.

For example, I currently use separate rows for different wet FX chains. They can all be sent to the same output, but there is no convenient way to control or process the combined wet signal as one group before it leaves the QC.

A Group Bus would make complex parallel routing much easier and would turn the QC into an even more powerful signal mixer and FX processor.

I think this could be very useful not only for guitar rigs, but also for parallel processing, wet/dry setups, vocals, keyboards, and other external instruments.

Would something like this be possible in a future CorOS update?
