First post here, and while there are existing threads about this seemingly growing Input peaking issue, there doesn’t seem to be much discussion about supports response to it, hence the new thread.
Even with nothing plugged in, the input will spontaneously peak (see link above). I am seeing more and more people have to send their units in, some of which were quoted $300-500 + shipping. My warranty expired only two months ago so I asked them to honor the warranty or reduce the repair fee and they said there’s nothing they can do.
On another note, I mentioned to support that I recently had a house fire (the QC wasn’t effected) which left my family with tons of extra attorneys fees and living expenses. Gigging is a large chunk of my income so I need to get my qc fixed. Not trying to be an entitled Karen and am willing to pay something, but $300 - $500 + shipping sucks.
I get the need for policies - I have plenty myself as a small business owner and a freelance musician. But I try to accommodate to my customers needs because a blanket policy can’t cover every situation. I just think a product this expensive should not need a repair this major or this early. Also if there seems to be a number of people needing this, it is a manufacturing issue.
