In general I think that we bassists are a bit left behind when it’s about amp models and in general effect pedals, and while this is understandable from a business point of view, it is a shame since there are so many unexplored gems out there, one of them being an… amp model itself!
Few years ago I used to own one of the first L6 Bass Pod units and I was in love with an amazing model called SUB DUB, a very deep sound - but not an octaver -that, when boosting the drive, gave you an awesome, synth-like sawtooth wave distortion, that they developed in collaboration with one of my favourite bass players, Justin Meldal-Johnsen. I know it’s a niche request so it’s hard to imagine it implemented even in a far future update, but… who knows!
