Last night I was trying to capture the Archetype Abasi amps, but for the first time I found my QC struggling to capture something. I didn’t get it right and gave up.
The captures aren’t bad at all but lack gain and the feel is not right at all. Adjusting gain to +10dB helps but still isn’t right.
The tone can be described as bass heavy with a ton of gain and with one amp I feel like some compression is going on. Has anybody got similar problems and maybe some ways to improve te capture?
The Abasi plugin gave me the lead tone I’ve always been looking for so I’d love to get in into my QC.
