Stolen! Elektro Harmonix Electric Mistress Flanger Filter Matrix circa 1971

For many years I had one of these wonderful things. It was, without any doubt at all, the most awesome flang device I ever heard.

One day, some bell end broke into my car and stole it. I hope that person suffers severe tinitus.

There were four settings I used, marked with crayon - red, yellow, green and blue. My Dad paid a local sparky to build a power supply for it as it used two 9V batteries and needed new ones quite often. The power supply was stolen with the Electric Mistres.

If there is anybody who happens to have one of these amazing devices and can do a capture, I would be extremely grateful. And I’m sure that many other QC users would love this amazing piece of retro kit as well.

unfortunately, modulation can not be captured yet.
For time- or pitch-based fx we only have the option of models, so hopefully we’ll see more modulation fx device models come to the QC eventually. There is a harmonic trem scheduled for the next update, so at least we know they are working on that category.

I had a buddy who had the Mistress back in the 70s. Indeed, in spite of being quite noisy, it was a great sounding flanger. Hopefully, Neural will add a model in the near future but I doubt that they can model the crayon marks.
