Hello!

I am attempting to assign playback of a sample on my SP404 to a foot switch on QC. The end goal is being able to play samples while playing guitar on stage - but I am having trouble finding clear resources for the midi implementation. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

Not sure that would be possible. The midi in the QC is super limited. Honestly kinda unusable unless you’re having it receive patch/scene changes from a backing track rig.
