I just did the firmware update today and sadly I did not backup all my presets (lesson learned). All of my high gain presets sound terrible all of a sudden. It’s hard to describe but they sound flat, almost like the EQ disappeared. My blocks are all still there and the settings seem to be where they were. Any ideas what might have happened?
Do you have Global EQ enabled?
Hello i think that i’ve the same problem as you ( and for your information, i made a backup before and it changed nothing when i restored it).
My highgain tones suddenly changed, like the EQ totally changed ( my global EQ was activated, but flat, i try to deactivate it, and it change nothing)
I was in a recording session, while i tryed the update so you can compare the sound took before and after the update…

- an eq 3 param (just with an highpass)
- neural capture ENG Marty’s 3
- reverb Plate
- guitar cab 412 CA Trad SH30 15 (M)
i’m using only 22% of the CPU.
Also i’have some artifacts and gain reduction (like a gate) that appears suddenly

i’ve find back my sound by copy pasting all the preset’s modules i’ve described in my last post, into another new preset. (with ISO input and output)
I don’t understand why the 3.0.0 update have done this to my high gain preset.
I don’t know if it can be related, but it was my 1A preset.
I’ve recovered my timbre and i’m super happy with that, but it seems that the output of my quad cortex is like 1 or 2 db lower than before, but that’s no big deal because i can still raise it to match my precedent output level.
