What is the easiest way to boost solo volume at a gig with QC footswitches?
You could either have a volume boost through an EQ or Gain block and assign it for a specific scene / stomp OR you could adjust the scene output volume.
For example every rythm parts are on output volume 0db and you put the Solo scene on output volume +3db.
I’m using the last method + a slight EQ adjustment (more mids to cut through more) cause i have 8 scenes which are doing various stuff anyways, so it’s easier for me adjusting the solo boost over the output volume.
I’m in Hybrid mode, with presets on top and stomps on bottom.
I assigned a volume boost at the end of my signal chain for a 2db boost (3db on some). I then assigned it to Ctl #1, so I use an external pedal for my solo boost. I’m not sure that would work in scene mode though?
I use the EQ at the front of the chain to boost and push pedals and amp, and a volume pedal (you could use volume block) at the end as a “master” volume.
