Should I use a splitter (ex Lehle)?

Hello,
I use a Shure GLX16D on my pedalboard, plugged to the Input 1.
Sometimes, I don’t use the Shure, but a cable. I could use the Input 2, but I would like to use this input 1 for an acoustic guitar.
So should I use a splitter to avoid plug/unplug the Shure ?

Hi, you could use a A/B switch perhaps? Shure to Input A of switch, cable to input B of switch and the output of switch to input 1 on QC?
