Shared presets across multiple setlists / folders

Hi everyone,

I have noticed that when I create a preset in Quad Cortex, there is no way to have a single preset appear in two or more setlists at the same time. If I copy a preset to another playlist (for example, to use it in a different concert), only the copy in that new playlist remains static—any edits I make to the original do not propagate to the copy.

In contrast, on Headrush Pedalboard you can place a preset in multiple lists so that editing it in one list updates it everywhere. On Quad Cortex, to achieve the same behavior, you would need to save the preset under a different name each time you want a variation.

Is this the intended design of Quad Cortex, or am I missing some workflow that allows linked presets across setlists? Any input or clarification would be appreciated.

Thank you!

“Setlist” is a misnomer on the QC, they really should have called them “Preset Folders.”
There’s no way to link across folders, no easy way to rearrange presets quickly, and if you delete a “setlist” you lose EVERY PRESET in it.

Probably one of the most requested feature additions would be “better setlist implementation/management.”
There are LOTS of pre-existing Feature Requests for this that you could vote on
