Happy Halloween, folks! Just wanted to let you all know that I released a new set of [free] captures for the Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion on Cortex Cloud.
The real tone character of the pedal comes through on the Mode 2 settings where tone and gain are pushed past 12:00. My username on the cloud is DiffractionCircuit, same as here in the forum. Enjoy!

Honestly, for some of the higher gain settings, try running it straight into a cab block (or direct out to a physical power amp and cab). Amp block might not be necessary at all.

Did something change in terms of Quad Cortex’s unability to capture fuzzy pedals? I tried to capture the DS-2 a few times but never got anywhere near your results. Finally I have all my tones in the QC. You are my hero 
The Frusciante sound is widely covered for me now. In combination with the WH10 there is still a little gap and what I would call like ‘artifacts’ - but pretty good indeed! I will try your capture with the Expression Pedal SP1-ND-GY soon. Thanks again! Marco

I kept the output knob at maximum for all of the DS-2 captures. I don’t always do captures this way, but it worked out just fine here.
I feel like the captures are 95% close to the original DS-2; the feel is all there but the frequency response is just a tiny bit different from the pedal.
Only the maxed out Channel 2 version. It is very good.
