restart during 2 gigs (so almost a minute without any sound..) CorOS 4.0.0, CIOKS DC7+Crux

CorOS Version: 4.0.0

Describe your issue:
Random crash + restart during gig
Happened during my last 2 gigs

Steps to reproduce your issue:
Unclear, stage was pretty hot, CorOS 4.0.0, CIOKS DC7+Crux, load indicator on CIOKS does not show an overload.
CPU load should not be peaking
Loop 1 has a disengaged pedal
Loop 2 has a bassdrive and Basswhammy
**
I expected this to happen:**
No crashes during live performance..

I have tried the following things:

Never happened before, now suddenly durong last two gigs, no issue during rehearsal or having the unit on for longer periods at home.
I chcked the power supply cables and other wiring, no issues there.

I would definitely propose that you at least update to the current firmware from 3/4/26 which is 4.0.1 and email support@neuraldsp.com so they can log your issue and possibly review your diagnostic logs.

I just updated and was scared it broke my unit, after pressing reboot there was not a single sign of life.

After taking the unit out of the pedal board it looks like the power supply connected correctly, no lose wires, but still no sign of life on the QC. I went through all cabinets to find the original adapter which came with the QC, found it, connected it and it came to life again!

Some more debugging now shows that the cable between the Crux and the QC is broken (fried?) replacing it works with the QC and the broken cable also does not work with other pedals.

There is no visual sign on the cable that something is wrong with it. I’ll check it with a multimeter later.
But so far it looks like a faulty cable perhaps due to overheating.

I’ll try to change my pedalboard so the heat can dissapate a bit better from the Cioks. And order some spare cables..

Thanks for the update! Usually, crashing and or odd performance issues has almost always been due to power supply related issues. Hopefully you discovered the source of your power related issues.
