Recreating the Mr. Black Supermoon Chrome reverb

First post, new to the DSP Quad Core.
Has anyone recreated (or gotten real close) to Mr Black’s Supermoon Chrome? This pedal has been my go-to for well over a decade. It has ability to do full effect (no guitar) as well as subtle pitch shifting controlled via potentiometer.. gives the verb a haunting sound that I’ve not found in any other reverb.

I’ve captured what Mr Black pedals I could, but haven’t tried reproducing the wet fx yet.

Sounds like a good challenge. Have you done any work on it yet? I’ll take a shot ASAP.

I haven’t yet received my DSP :slight_smile:
Have a bit of a learning curve in general when I get it. I’ll be using it for both guitar and bass guitar.

Does the NDSP capture work on reverb? I thought it was for amps, cabinets, gain pedals and compressors.

no, you can’t capture wet fx yet. I’ve meant that I’ve captured the Mr Black ODs and fuzzes, etc that I have. The Delays and 'verbs will have to be built as multi-fx presets.

Finally got my QC and couldn’t find any pedal that would do a sway effect. So it looks like I will rock my Supermoon Chrome as an extra on my board.

Does NeuralDSP release new pedals on the reg? Sway reverb would be super sick.

sorry I haven’t pursued this yet as I had to send my QC in for repairs.
What exact effect/tone are you looking to duplicate? I was planning to run a parallel 100% wet Bloom reverb thru modulation and a pitch-shifter assigned to XP for real-time pitch control. There are no LFO controllers on the QC yet so any adjusting has to be done manually.
Is there a recorded sample of the exact tone you’re going for?

ah, funny- that CocteauTwins/Slowdivesque segment is my fav part, I figured that might be the one. I think we can get into that territory.
It’s going to require combining several fx.
Will you be using an eXpression Pedal?

Preferably no.. I like the randomness of the sway with the Chrome, and that I don’t need to manually control it
