Recommendations for cleaning Quad Cortex surface?

Sorry for the mundane question but are there any official recommendations as to what to use to clean the Quad Cortex’s surface? Only water? Alcohol (seems potentially ill-advised)? About to put a Ceba protector on mine and want to make sure hand oils are removed first as the protector uses adhesive pads.

Btw, for anyone who was wondering, the surface of the QC is not magnetic. I was going to modify my CEBA protector with some of those tiny magnets, but magnets don’t stick to the QC’s surface.

Not official but when it’s time for cleaning, we use a small amount of distilled water with a Norwex display cleaning cloth which works perfectly but basically any microfiber towel will do the job.
