My QC recently stopped turning on entirely. I did some of the obvious trouble shooting (trying multiple socketts, switching between the DC7 & crux to the wall supply) with no success. Fortunately I was able to exchange it at sweetwater and i’m up and running again. This still has me scratching my head a bit I have no clue why it died in the first place. I’m a little concerned about reliability for upcoming tours and wondering if anyone has had any experiences like this? Currently i’m running a new Fuhrman poweramp - DC7 - Crux - QC which seems like a fairly standard chain.
I had a similar situation with my first QC this summer (was also using the Crux + cooks power supply, but had used the factory power supply for a month before that). Sweetwater replaced the QC for me. Thankfully haven’t had it happen since and it has had a bunch of touring since replacing it. Still using the crux/Cioks power.
I bring an HX Stomp as a backup just in case though since that was what I was using before.
