Quad Cortex Mini Scene Changes send MIDI CC msg/s?

It’s my understanding that Quad Cortex Scene Changes can send MIDI CC msg/s when the physical buttons are pressed on the larger unit. My question is to what extent is this feature retained in the new QC Mini? I’d like to have the option to connect the Mini in a 4-cable method with a channel-switching tube amp, wherein the different scenes can engage a different channel. Thank you

Pretty sure the midi functionality is exactly the same at the normal QC

You can either send midi on preset load or footbutton press. Here is a link to the manual, scroll down to Preset MIDI Out

Thank you for taking the time to link the manual. I studied it, but am still not clear if my above goal can be achieved per original post—mostly due to the generic way manual is written. I know the Helix can do this, but that format is too large for my needs.

What you’re trying to do is very simple to set up, and you absolutely can do it with the QC.

Each scene can send the necesarry messages for you. I do it to control parameters on pedals I have connected to the QC midi all the time. Just changing an amp channel will be fine.

The manual for your head will let you know what midi messages you’ll need to send from the QC

Thank you, this is what I wanted to hear! I guess, with the Mini, there will just be less buttons on the unit. However, if I gravitate towards this and need more scene buttons (unlikely w 4), it could easily be augmented with some small form factor products currently available. This is just a case of the constantly evolving modular, shrinking rigs. This guy seems like a no brainer.

In studio setting, will need to double-check I can still use the USB-C in/outs with UA Console virtual channels as most of my Apollo analog ins/outs are spoken for.
