Unfortunately, my Quad Cortex started producing pink noise on all inputs — even after testing different cables, power sources, and environments.
I have already contacted support in Finland, but being here in Brazil makes the process difficult and slow.
The fragility of the equipment combined with the lack of local support is very frustrating.
I didn’t expect this from a premium device in this price range.
Just leaving this here as a warning to others that this issue can happen at any time.
Very disappointed so far.
aqui no brasil segundo um amigo que ja teve problema com a quad tem a autorizada a @gdxaudio, e tem o @danielcalinafernandes, busca ambos no instagram que voce vai conseguir arrumar
Support works via email so it shouldn’t take any longer than usual to resolve your issues unless it’s hardware related. Ensure you are using the stock power supply or ensure you are feeding it 2a @ 12v minimally.
Muuuuito agradecido pela ajuda, consegui resolver com suporte da Neural DSP e a GDX.
This? I had this issue, Thomann send my QC to Neural directly, cause they guess it’s a hardware problem. (i had this issue both, with the Stock Power Supply and with the MyVolts Power Supply)
If this is caused by changing the Power Supply and to little power input or fluctuating power delivery i find this highly frustrating. Still a bummer, that Neural doesn’t built the power supply into the unit, like Kemper, Helix or Fractal
