definitely get a message in to Support@Neuraldsp.com ASAP. Where did you buy your unit? Might also have to go thru the retail seller/dealer if there is one.
Support will most likely request a video and audio recording of the issue
Haven’t heard of that particular problem, not aware of a self-fix- sorry.
Hi
Yes already emailed neural support and asked video for better explain of problem, but i think tomorrow call thomann customer service for shipping back product and wait for repair
Hi friend, I encountered this issue too when I first got Quad Cortex. This could be solved by reducing the headphone out level in the I/O setting page, then the static hiss or white noise sound will go away. I guess this is because if we don’t turn down headphone output level (remember neuraldsp said headphone out is dedicated for high-impedance headphones), it’s kinda like we turning the volume knob all the way up in a headphone amp, in which we also get this kind of noise.
This white noise headphones out problem had with high impedance and low impedance headphones, usually use my Sony Mdr 7506 and white noise still have with sony like Mdr-EX15LP (tried different adapters but nothing)
same problem with both headphones
Tried to set output level lower than before and any kind of volume/impedance settings in the I/O setting page but still nothing
this is the reason that i asked for Rma
So if the problem can be solved in this way that you explained to me will be great, most important thing is when package return to me without any kind of problems because had to play live and i don’t want to have problems on stage during performance
Maybe change product with anoter one can be a little solution
