We are pleased to announce that CorOS 3.0.0, including plugin compatibility, will enter beta testing within the next 1-2 weeks, and therefore we are still on track to launch plugin compatibility in Q2.
‘X’-updating plugins is also progressing smoothly. We just released the Fortin Nameless Suite X and the Soldano SLO-100 X. The next two plugins to receive the ‘X’ treatment are Parallax and Archetype: Nolly.
CorOS 3.0.0 will include plugin compatibility for Archetype: Plini X and Archetype: Gojira X - the first two plugins to receive the ‘X’ updates. Compatibility for the more recent X updates will be added in future versions of CorOS.
And since it is a big update, if the beta begins -let say- May the 13th, I wouldn’t expect the CorOs 3.0 release to be done before end of June (30th June is STILL in Q2 )
The way they say “and therefore we are still on track for a Q2 release” makes me think public release wont be in Q2. It’s got a very “well, technically” vibe to it
In what way is this “no news”? I guess they could just release V3.0 without beta testing and let all the users find the bugs. Then a bunch of folks would be pissed about the problems. I, for one, appreciate the update.
