QC randomly coming out of standby after new 3.0 update

CorOS Version:** 3.0

Describe your issue:
I usually keep my unit on standby whilst not using it. Since the update it randomly snaps out of standby mode and can hear buzzing sound through speakers (because guitar is not plugged in). The screen does not come on though, and need to press the off button for it come on and give me the option to put it back into standby.

Steps to reproduce your issue:
Just keep it on standby, has happened about 5 times in two days.

Try going to ‘Settings’ → ‘Device Options’ → ‘Power Button Sensitivity’ and decreasing the sensitivity setting.

Its already not very sensitive (i need to push it) - is this known that the sensitivity triggers it or is it just an idea that it might be the issue?

Do you have some kind of protective skin installed onto your QC? The adhesive could potentially trigger the capacity touch sensor.

No idea what is causing the issue. Just thought that setting might be an easy way to address it. Especially if you had the sensitivity set high.

Did you try it? Did it help?

have you rebooted it at least twice since you updated? If not, do

Confirm the same issue: QC randomly coming out of standby after new 3.0 update, the screen is off, buttons are off but the signal is coming, so it’s not the sensitivity, otherwise the screen will be on. No such issue was on the previous version. And I’ve rebooted after the update

Hmm, starting to sound like a bug. Might need to contact Neural.

Wonder how widespread this is. If not, it might be worth reapplying the new CoreOS.

Would this not be the right place to let them know?

Sadly it isn’t. You have to write a Mail to support@neuraldsp.com

Ok sent! Will update here if I hear anything

I have the exact same issue with my QC which started to happen after upgraded to 3.0. I initially thought my monitors were faulty, but I realized that the QC was in standby mode without muting the outputs. This happened quite a few times when I left the QC in standby mode for extended periods.
