QC pedalboard setup, cable check / missing anything?

Hey everyone,

I’m putting together a pedalboard and just want to double-check if everything makes sense and if I’m not missing anything important—especially when it comes to cabling.

Current setup:

  • RockBoard Quad 4.1 pedalboard

  • Neural DSP Quad Cortex

  • Boss TU-3 tuner

  • Lehle expression pedal

  • CIOKS DC7 power supply

  • CIOKS CRUX (to power the Quad Cortex)

  • RockBoard MOD 3 V2 (TRS & XLR patch bay)

I’m planning to use the Quad Cortex as the core of the setup and route everything through the MOD 3.

Main question:
Does this setup look complete in terms of cables?
Is there anything specific I should be aware of when wiring this up (TRS vs TS, patch cables, power connections, etc.)?

Just want to avoid missing something obvious before I finish building it.

Thanks!

One thing to consider; if you plan to connect your guitar to the qc through the mod block you can expect noise. I think it is lacking enough shielding around the power connection. Multiple people (including myself) ran into this issue. I solved it by drilling a large hole in the side of the board and adding a separate TS to TS connector for the guitar input. Secondly the same issue but less bad, so I accept it since its purely for playing live for me, when using the TS connectors for an fx-loop.
