It would be nice to have the footswitches the function of sending MIDI commands, turning the QC itself into a MIDI controller. For example, this will allow guitarists to start and stop recording in the DAW without taking their hands off the guitar. When used on a desktop, QC can be a pretty good controller - apart from buttons and rotary encoders, it has a touchscreen that can display sliders, an XY pad, or something like an Ableton Push button.
I agree with this but I would like it to be able to switch amp channels via MIDI, for those like myself using QC with a real amp. Good thought!
