QC and SideChain for Bass

Hi Guys! New here and just ordered a QC. Do you know if it’s possible to do the below with the QC? If so, how would I go about it? Basically leave the bottom freq unaffected just like the below if I’m running external effects.

that’s what the Crossover Splitter is for. It’s often used to create multi-band compressor presets for bass:

Follow up question, do I need to use both inputs? i.e. INPUT 1, bass direct, INPUT 2 all effects or use the return/send?
