Plugins on QC

It might sound a bit petty, but I was really disappointed to find out, the plugins didn’t look as fascinating on QC as they do on PC.

Is it really too much to ask to have a graphic Designer adapt the beautiful amp visuals for the QC plugins?

It would really make me feel a lot better looking at that UI than the default visual that you are currently shipping

Hey @Sanyo ! There is a feature request that’s been around for a while to improve/change the graphics for the QC which you may wish to vote on. It’s believed that the QC screen resolution isn’t the best, so how good the end result would be in bringing the plugin appearance to the unit may be debatable.

The QC screen does not have the resolution to support displaying the plug-in UIs.

It’s been discussed so many times on here already, dating back to when the plugins first came to QC. I really prefer that it doesn’t have the plugin UI. The control layout QC has is way better. Then again, I’m more focused on getting a sound than staring at the screen pretending I’m playing the real amp head

If the display did all that, you wouldn’t need a computer at all…but screen size and format are limited…that’s the BEAUTY of Cortex Control imo. I can use my laptop to enhance my visual will programming …and it’s usually running during any practice time… I can see both screens..

Oh please no ! The interface on the QC is much clearer and more efficient than any skeomorphic BS, plus it would require 1) more processing power 2) more dev time, both of which could be put to much better use than this.

I’d rather have a more flexible grid like Fractal than a fascinating UI.

I dont use plugins, but they seem like they are a walled garden. Adapting the UI would really only work if you only use the plugin; it is not clear how adding non-plugin devices from the QC would be implemented visually.

My idea is simply to make the amps a little prettier, not the entire Plugin UI

Why? …The current graphics are efficient and look 100% professional. A picture of the amplifier doesn’t affect the sound or the tone correction abilities.

Once the sound is set, I don’t often look at it again. There are probably a lot of requests that would make an improvement to sound, or workflow that would be a better use of time.
