Have just started experimenting with pedal captures and found that placing an “un buffer” (I have a few - the best is by DS Custom) between the QC capture output and the pedal input dramatically improves the tone. Of course this, as in all things, is subjective and YMMV.
Apropos, I’m wondering whether the “capture” sellers (Amalgam etc) do the same?…….
