I have searched the web and it says it is now auto sensed and knows its a mic, however the impedance doesn’t change. Does this happen automatically as well? Or do I need to change this for mic input?
If you have a more recent Quad Cortex, the mic/instrument mode is automatic like you mentioned. It is only manual on older models.
As far as impedance, that does not change automatically, and it only applies to instrument mode. So it shouldn’t matter at all if you’re using a microphone. On a QC Mini the impedance setting is not available.
