Hi, every time I turn off the QC, there will be noise comes from the monitor, I need to unplug the XLR cable to solve this noise problem, I wonder if there is any method that I don’t need to unplug the XLR cable and there will be no noise after I turn off the QC? Thank you!
I noticed same noise. System is quiet when QC powered up.
QC uses a relay on the ground that requires power to keep it closed. This is part of the grounding approach where QC expects to get its ground from something it is connected to rather than provide the ground from its own power supply. Ultimately this reduces ground loops when the QC is operating, but has the downside of sometimes producing noise when powered off. Good practice is to turn things on from source to destination, and turn things off destination to source. This will avoid noise issues and sometimes big pops.
