This is my Rig.
Welcome to the forum, Eugene. That’s a nice compact rig. I hope you’re enjoying your Quad Cortex experience.
Cool setup Gene

I am, but I was missing one thing until I got a Line 6 PowerCab 212 Plus and paired it with my Quad Cortex, which just works, plain and simple. I got tired of dealing with the noise and hiss from my Marshall amp, especially in worship settings where quiet, ambient moments really matter. It became a constant hassle having to shut my amp off every time things got silent to avoid that unwanted hum. Like a lot of players, I tried the 4-cable method, no luck. I also ran through EV powered speakers with FRFR, but it never felt or sounded like a real guitar amp. Line 6 finally cracked the code.
The right amp/speaker can make a huge difference. I have tried quite a few FRFR cabs and PA speakers with (mostly) disappointing results. I’m currently using a pair of Fender FRFR10s and am quite impressed. Glad you found a cab that you’re happy with.
I recently started using Neural DSP plugins, and I have to say that the Archetype: Petrucci is an excellent all-in-one solution. If you’re looking for a plugin that combines a wide range of amps, effects, and pedals in a single package, this one is hard to beat. It comes with outstanding built-in ambient effects and tones, making it easy to dial in everything from clean, atmospheric sounds to high-gain lead tones. It also integrates seamlessly with Logic Pro, making it a great choice for recording, practicing, and producing music. If you’re considering a Neural DSP plugin and want maximum versatility, the Archetype: Petrucci is definitely worth checking out.
