New QC Mini owner LooperX question

Hi, I am wondering if anyone else has encountered the pre-roll being greyed out in the LooperX on the quad cortex mini. There were a couple other blocks also greyed out. I think Midi clock and quantize.
Is there something I am missing?

Also when I unmute the metronome, there is no way to change the volume of the metronome.

That’s because “QUANTIZE” is set to off. You have to set it to a beat of your choice.

You can change the volume in the “TEMPO” menu, which you access by holding FS C.
