I have no problems with a Pixel 7 android phone or an iPhone 10, but on my iPad and Chromebook it tries for a second, seems to connect, and then a white screen pops up with an error message that says to click on a support link. The support link takes you to a page which has zero info on Bluetooth connectivity problems.
I have same problem!
Same issue, iPhone no problem but no joy on iPad!
I’d like to hear from somebody who has gotten it to work on an iPad because I’ve tried all the recommended steps and it’s definitely not a proximity thing.
The problem turned out to be the following. Devices that have bluetooth lower than 5.0 cannot connect. My iPad has bluetooth 4.2 and has the same problem.
Thanks, that must be the problem. Now if I can just find a compatible USB Bluetooth device for my Chromebook and disable the internal onboard Bluetooth.
I can’t find a USB dongle Bluetooth adapter that is guaranteed to be Chromebook compatible but I did find code to enter into the Chrome command prompt to change the default BT device.
