Why does the MyVolt replacement power adapter
hum massive and the original is dead quiet?

When I grounded the amp the hum was gone! But why wasn’t there any hum when I used the original power supply and the amp ungrounded.
What has the original power supply got that the MyVolts dosen´t have?

What do you mean by “grounded the amp”? Are you playing your QC through a guitar amplifier? And it wasn’t previously grounded? Are you sure that the QC is actually in any way related to this hum? Maybe it was just the ungrounded amp and would have hummed no matter what you plugged into it?
Confused why the amp would be ungrounded…..
Yes I use my effects through an amp. Send return.
When I use the power supply that comes with QC. There is no problem with hum.
When I use MyVolts power supply I got a hum.
This is related to an amp that has no ground connection at the power supply.
What differs the two power supply, just curious!
