I currently use send 2 and return 1-2 as my fx loop. I think it would be really nice to have this as a single block option in the fx loop section!
Yes, I could use this too.
Same as the OP, I want this setup:
mono signal β mono send β reverb pedal β stereo return(s!) β stereo signal
And I also solved it like him by using two blocks on the grid:
fx loop send1 β reverb pedal β fx loop return 1/2
Before voting for this feature request, is there any downside to simply using the fx loop 1/2 to save one block? Like this:
fx loop 1/2 β reverb pedal
This is how I use my Collider. Using the physical Send 1 Mono to Collider, and Return 1/2 on the QC and I most often use the FX LOOP 1/2 block and then use MIDI messages via stomps to turn the delay / reverb on and off independently. If your signal in the grid is mono up until the FX LOOP 1/2 block, itβs simply sending a copy of your signal out both sends so itβs ok to not have anything plugged into the other send (AFAIK).
Sometimes I configure the Collider to send the delay and reverb out separately (in mono), and will use Send 1 Block and Return 1 and Return 2 blocks in the grid.
This is already possible with the QC, and I currently use this feature.
I use 2 x FX Loop blocks. The first block is an FX Send, which is routed to Send 1. The second block, that immediately follows is an FX Return which receives its input from Return 1 and Return 2.
This send goes to my reverb pedal in mono and comes back into the QC in stereo.
