Midi on the Nano

Midi PC seems pretty straightforward on the Nano so I’m sorry for asking the question (but I’ve owned a QC for years now and there’s STILL NO independent midi control of the blocks so….) has anyone in here actually gotten the Nano to receive midi PC changes that actually work?? Thanks!

Hi
I use a Morningstar mc3 with it and tried a Ampero control. Both work prefect and controlling it with the mc 3 is great. I made presets and set lists with the Morningstar and now it can replace my qc live

yes, via reaper and hx stomp

So the Morningstar is sending midi prg change messages to the Nano Cortex? Very tempted to get a MC3…

Yeah, and you can even built setlist und song presets. It puts the NC on an completely new level:

I’ve built a mini Board with two batteries, the mc3, a wah and a Tumnus. It can go for hours and hours without a grit and with the wireless dongle I don’t even need to plug it in. The MC3 connects directly to the NC via a standard 3,5 TRS Cable
The NC replaced my QC for Livegigs with this setup and it fits in the smallest Thoman case :guitar:

I’ll make proper cable management next week and then it’s golden.

Great news! So, Neutral claims the switching is gapless…true?? Also, is there anything available on the Nano regarding tap tempo? Thanks all!

the footswitch switching is gapless, however there’s a little bit of latency with midi
