MIDI commands to control Boss RC-5

Hello,

I’ll start by saying that I am new to the quad cortex and really enjoying it.

However, I am setting up the quad cortex to play samples / backing tracks on a Boss RC5 (I am also new to the RC5). It seems like I am pretty close to having it work, but I’m having a hard time connecting some dots.

In the QC Preset MIDI out settings in Scene Mode, I am changing the RC5 memory slot with this midi command: PC Program 0

This works perfectly!

and I am assigning a button (H) to play the memory slot and have The RC5 set to Track Play/Stop with the midi CC#80 command.

This works once i press the H button, however it will play only once and cannot be stopped by pressing “H” button again. After the track has finished or been stopped by stomping the RC5 pedal, I cannot get the track to play again pressing the H button on the quad cortex.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After some tinkering, I discovered using “CC toggle” Min Value 0 and Max Value 127 seems to work.

Although, the H button needs to be tapped twice. I think that will work for my purposes, but, a single tap of the button would be preferable. Is this something that can be configured in the QC?
