I got this from the Mastermind folks:
Neural DSP reached out to us quite a while back, asking if we could work out some kind of advanced MIDI interface, like we have with Fractal and Kemper. Fractal and Kemper came up with third party interfaces on their own, which we then created support for in the Mastermind series. The Quad Cortex didn’t have that level of MIDI functionality, so we created a proposal of how we thought it should work, and sent it to them. The work is underway on their side, but we don’t know when it will be completed. Until it is, we can’t add any advanced support.
I really want to buy a Mastermind GT10 but have to wait until NeuralDSP gets moving on it. It would be great to have the same freedom that fratctal and kemper owners have.
This is encouraging to hear. I use an MC8 with QC, but because of the limited MIDI support, I can only use it to change scenes, leaving the QC in stomp mode to expand the switches. The biggest issues is there are only 8 stomp switches, no matter how many MIDI switches you might have. This is no where near enough for my workflow. So I have to simulate stomp-like controls with specific scenes.
Any dates on thise communications? Not a MIDI expert by any means but have used for years this ain’t reinventing the wheel this stuff been around a LONG TIME.
The email I got from RJM was last week, August 8. Further down the email he said that RJM was waiting on the Neural DSP folks.

Waiting? Waiting for NDSP?? NO WAY!!! I’ve been waiting to hear ANYTHING from them regarding midi control of the blocks for over 2.5 years and NOTHING!!! Not a peep, a NO, a MAYBE, a NEVER, a SHUP!! NADA! Do I seem frustrated? YUP!
Maybe they don’t even bother looking through this forum? The only thing I can think of that’s keeping them from proving this simple fix is that they’re developing some kind of proprietary foot switching system of their own like Fractal has??? Hmmmm🤔
