Low input volume in Logic Pro

Hello,

I’ve tried to figure out how to adjust Nano Cortex USB sound output level to get decent recording level in Logic Pro but haven’t manage to find any solution. I am having MacBook Pro with OSX Tahoe 26.0.1. In Neural reamping tutorial video the sound level on Logic Pro is good but I am facing very low input levels (around -18).

All tips are warmly welcome. Thanks.

Did you select Input 3+4?

As Input 1 is the XLR and Input 2 the di Channel

Thank you for your reply.

I am facing low recording input level on dry guitar signal and for that I have selected input 1 as shown in NeuralDSP re-amping tutorial video.

As far as I have understood input 3-4 shall be used for processed signal recording.

-18 seems about right for the DI Signal. You can make the Waveform bigger wit cmd +, so you see it better, but the di Signal should be around -18 to -12 max. I wouldn’t boost it, because it would hit the Nano too hard, when ramping. When you use plugins it works with -18, too

Input 1 Di is correct. 3+4 for processed, too.

Ok, good to hear that my DI signal is at decent level. I just started to wonder this because in NeuralDSP video DI signal level looks louder but all seems to be ok then.

Thank you for your kind guidance.
