I’m driving myself crazy trying to figure out how to adjust my input gain when using the nano cortex as an interface. I just got my nano cortex a couple days ago and I was recording into logic however adjusting the level on the cortex or the gain does not seem to adjust my levels in the daw. Am I missing something here? This is my first time recording like this as I usually mic up cabs etc. thank you for any help because I would like to know what I am either missing or doing wrong.

It is a bit tricky but I had to go into System Settings on my MAC and go in to sound and adjust it from there. I cannot remember exactly but try all the sliders. Inputs and outputs show up different under MAC / Audio. And.. make sure you choose NC as Audio Interface under Logic→Settings→Audio.
Thank you I will try this out. Hopefully this solves the mystery of how to get the desired level when recording into the daw. I figured the level on the cortex itself would adjust it but it wasn’t. I’ll try looking in the audio settings of my Mac like you suggested.

I discovered lowering the output on the amp block in the cloud app fixes the issue!
